Basel, located in Switzerland at the heart of Europe, is a congress city with conveniently situated facilities. The Congress Center Basel enjoys a downtown location, situated directly adjacent to Basel Exhibition Centre. Travel times are short, and the historic old town, the shopping areas and the many museums and parks can be reached comfortably on foot or in a few minutes by public transport. The Congress Center Basel and its facilities are located directly alongside Messe Exhibition.
Take tram no. 1 or 2 from the Swiss or French (SBB/SNCF) railway station; you will reach Basel Exhibition in 10 minutes. From the German Railway (DB) station (Badischer Bahnhof) you will be at "Messeplatz / Exhibition Square" in 5 minutes by tram no. 2 or 6.

Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport is 15 minutes’ drive from Congress Center Basel. Further, there is an easy connection from EuroAirport to the exhibition center in downtown Basel by public transport (Bus Nr. 50), via the central Swiss railway station (Bahnhof SBB). From Bahnhof SBB the tram line no. 2 serves Basel Exhibition square directly. There are frequent trains between Basel SBB station and Zurich taking less than an hour, and direct services to and from Zurich Airport. |

Basel is an international rail hub with direct ICE, IC and EC daytime and nighttime connections from Germany, Austria, Italy France and the Benelux countries.
